Success...

Success takes on a whole new meaning when you become a Mom. Just a short time ago, success meant that I had a good job, a nice place to live, a nice car, etc.. Well now let me give you a list of the successes of a new Mom:
  • Going 4 hours between feedings at night... Success
  • Finishing pooping (or peeing) BEFORE the diaper is taken off... Success
  • Me getting out of my Pj's for the day... Success
  • Me getting to take a shower... Success
  • Going a full day without puke on my shoulder... Success
  • Only one wardrobe change throughout the day for the twins... Success
  • Being on time anywhere... Success
  • Only one load of laundry a day... Success
  • Not losing 4 pacifiers a day... Success
  • My son not peeing on his face during his bath... Success
  • Eating a hot meal... Success
So as you can see, my successes have changed slightly. They're a little more specific and a little smaller than before, but they make a world of difference when accomplished. It's funny how your perspective changed when another life (or two) enter your world.
