Sleep...Becoming Less Overrated

I am happy to report that my children's sleep patterns are getting MUCH better. I don't know if it is just because we were at the beach all weekend and they got A LOT of fresh, sea air, but the past 3 nights they only woke up once in the middle of the night to eat! The first night I looked at the clock when they started to fuss and couldn't believe it had been 6 hours from their last feeding! No that wasn't a typo, 6 HOURS! Since then they have gone anywhere between 5 and 6 hours at night!

However, we are now back home and the twins had no sea air today. I did take them outside for a bit so maybe just the regular fresh air will do. So hopefully the pattern will continue or even get better! I will say though, the sleep has been so much better and I will not take it for granted ever again!

woohoo!!! I hope the sleeping pattern has continued! It is a wonderful thing when you realize you've actually slept 5 or 6 straight hours haha!

oh so happy you got some sleep this weekend. Yes, you don't know how precious sleep is until you have kids. Hope last night went well.

That's great that they slept longer. Sleeping for even 5 hours straight is so much better then 3. The first time they sleep through the night your going to panic when you wake up. But it is so nice!! Good luck with the better sleeping!
