Maternity Pictures...

So Ryan and I decided to do just a few fun little maternity pictures just to have. I had been going back and forth on whether or not I really wanted them done. So we decided to do them on our own. So here are our little maternity pictures! I will admit, these have been photoshopped a bit ;)

I found you through the multiples site, and I'm super jealous you have no stretch marks... my ladies left me a sweet little road map! :)

Haha, well I really do have a lot of stretch marks, but I learned how to airbrush on photoshop :)

Hey Gretchen...have you thought of doing a belly cast? It would be amazing to put it up to you once you're back down to your "normal" size after the twinsa are born. Plus, it would be neat to let the kids see it one day when they're older

Kelly - I hadn't thought about doing the belly cast. Maybe I will have to look into it. Is it something you can buy at a craft store to do?

Gretchen, let me talk to my mama friends and I'll get back to you on the belly cast :)

OK, here you go :)

Belly casts are super easy. You'll want to go to a craft store and get some plaster bandages. Since your friend is having twins I would suggest she get about 4-5 rolls (or packages). I think I used 1 or 2 maybe. Then you'll want to put down some sort of a drop cloth. Then put something like vaseline or oil all over the belly so that the plaster doesn't stick to the skin. Layer the plaster on thick. You'll probably want to go over the initial layer about 2 times. Then wait for it to dry and carefully take it off. I was standing to put on the plaster strips but you can sit down.

also, step-by-step instructions are here too

if you end up doing this, you'll have to post pictures of you next to the belly cast once you've had the twins :)
