Oh Hai 3AM, I have NOT Missed You...

Can somebody please inform my daughter that once you start sleeping through the night it is not nice to go back to NOT sleeping through the night. WTH? This is true, for the past 2 nights now Kaylie has been waking up in the middle of the night. I try to put the paci back in her mouth, change her diaper, let her fuss for a few all to no avail. She just wants to eat! I thought once you started them on cereal they became LESS hungry. Apparently Kaylie has heard otherwise.

Cavan is making it through the night still, but has very restless sleep. I don't know, maybe I'll lay off the rice cereal tonight and see if it makes a difference. Now if you'll excuse me, I must go unpack the bags under my eyes.

Sounds like the infamous 4 month sleep regression. My daughter who slep through the night since about 6 weeks has decided this week SHE needs a middle of the night bottle too. And her brother too.

yup that's about the time when they start to wake again...this is when we used the ferber method to sleep train...the doc said 15 pounds was enough to keep them without feeds in the night, took 3 nights of crying it out but they did it and are now almost 8 months and have not woken in the middle of the night!
Good luck!

My daughter started doing this at 6 months and is now 10 months and is still waking in the middle of every night for a bottle. I thought I was the only one this has happened to. Her doc just said let her eat. well, I hope I'm still not doing this when she's 3 yrs old.lol not sure what I should do...........
