Nesting?

Can nesting take place this early on? I am becoming a regular Martha Stewart lately. I went grocery shopping (a task I despise), cooked dinner for the past 3 nights in a row (only one was a meal in a bag, but I still had to cook it), put the laundry away (another task I despise), and washed the pot and wok before bed last night (usually an event that takes place next day or so). I'm also planning to clean the bathrooms tonight, although this I do on a regular basis anyway because well, I scheve a dirty bathroom. Hopefully I stay motivated to continue.

I have also welcomed a new guest, bloat. It's probably from the increase of water intake per day from about 6 glasses a day to about eleventybillion. Looks like I might be dusting off those maternity clothes in just a few more weeks (certainly not yet).

Baby C Makes Three...

You heard right, WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!! Ryan and I are beyond excited right now. I got anxious on Tuesday and just had a very strong feeling that I was pregnant so I went out and bought a test. I felt like it took years for the answer to pop up on the screen, then there it was...

So now it was time to tell Ryan. Well Wednesday was his birthday, but I couldn't wait until then. So he got into the shower and I left him a little message on the mirror to see when he got out...

and then left the test on the vanity. Of course he came out of the shower, read the message and didn't see the test so he ended up looking all over the place for it. Finally he found it and saw the "Yes". He was so excited.

We were going to wait to tell everyone, but the way we look at it, most people wait until their 2nd trimester to tell, but we lost our first baby in the 2nd trimester. So even if we had waited, it wouldn't have made a difference. Right now we did decide to just tell close friends and family just until we're a little further along. I'm going to keep updating my blog along the way. What I want to do is weekly updates that will later be made into a scrapbook for the baby, as well as any other updates I want to add in between.

For now we are beyond the moon. Today I am pregnant and I love my baby.

2WW

I am pretty confident I am in the 2 week wait now judging by my temps the last couple of days. I also had a bit of spotting today, not a lot, but just a little. Well I'm trying not to read too much into it, but the only other time I had spotting in between cycles was when I was pregnant the last time.

I am going to try to be good and not test until I'm due for my next cycle. This is going to be a long 2 weeks! So here is a list of things I will be doing to occupy my time:

Go to New Hampshire this weekend
Cookout next weekend
Head to LC after the cookout
Celebrate Dolce's birthday on the 19th
Celebrate my birthday on the 20th
Celebrate Ryan's birthday on the 22nd
Hopefully meet my new Neice Ava on the 20th
Then most likely test on either July 24th or 25th and see a BFP (Fingers crossed)

Lord, please let this be our time.

Happy Anniversary

One year ago today I married my best friend and my soul mate. We have been through so much this past year and I couldn't imagine going through it with anyone else. We are closer now than we have ever been and I look forward to many more years together.

I can't help falling in love with you...
